In her post, Jyothika clarified that she was speaking as a **cinema lover**, and not merely as **Suriya’s wife**. She expressed pride in her husband’s work, stating, “*Kanguva* is an amazing film. Surya, I feel so proud that you have made this film. It is your dream, and I’m incredibly happy to see you bravely bring it to life.” She also acknowledged that, while the first half-hour of the film had faced some initial criticism for pacing and sound issues, these flaws should be understood as part of the creative process, especially when trying something new in Indian cinema.

“I don’t think it’s fair to judge the entire film based on the first half-hour,” Jyothika wrote. “Such mistakes are part of experimentation and are common in movies. These should be seen as part of the journey of filmmaking.”

Addressing the negative reviews directly, Jyothika was clear about her disappointment. She found it shocking that people, including media outlets, were giving such harsh criticism to a film that, in her view, offers an exceptional cinematic experience. “The camera work, the execution—I've never seen anything like this in a Tamil film,” she added, tagging director **Vetri Maaran** and praising the team’s efforts.

Jyothika also dismissed rumors that the film contained elements of women harassment or outdated storytelling, calling such criticism “inappropriate.” She pointed out that *Kanguva* is a high-budget action film, with impressive fight sequences and moments of love and emotional depth, especially highlighting the film’s portrayal of the relationship between Kanguva and his child.

The actress expressed regret over the premature negative publicity surrounding the movie, particularly on the first day of release. “I was shocked to see the negative reviews coming even before the first show had aired,” she said. “This movie is a 3D experience, and the team worked hard to make something special. Spreading negativity before giving the film a chance is very disappointing.”

Jyothika concluded her post by praising the **Team *Kanguva*** for their dedication and hard work. “Be proud, Team *Kanguva*. Those spreading negativity are doing nothing to uplift cinema,” she wrote, sending a message of support to her husband’s fans, who have echoed her sentiments, calling out the unfair criticism.

Jyothika’s strong stance has resonated with many, and her post continues to be shared by fans who believe that *Kanguva* deserves more appreciation for its efforts and vision.
