Prabhas' "Raja Saab" Sets a New Standard for Scale and Budget

Contrary to initial speculations of a low-budget quickie, Prabhas' upcoming film "Raja Saab" with director Maruthi is shaping up to be a grand spectacle, boasting a massive budget of Rs 450 crores.

This ambitious project, marking the first collaboration between Prabhas and Maruthi, is being filmed on a lavish scale, with a massive set constructed in Azeeznagar, Hyderabad, serving as the primary location for the shoot. The production is expected to span over 150 working days, indicating the film's extensive scope.

Prabhas, who is known for his commitment to high-budget, visually impressive films, is reportedly receiving a remuneration of Rs 150 crores for the project. The film's budget also includes significant allocation for extensive VFX work, further emphasizing its grand scale.

The film's production is moving at a steady pace, with director Maruthi having completed a significant portion of the shoot. The remaining portions featuring Prabhas are currently underway, and the entire production is planned to be wrapped up by the end of the year.

The film's star cast includes Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal as the female leads, while Thaman is composing the music. People Media Factory is backing the project, which is set for a summer 2025 release.
