Tamannaah Bhatia Bandra Set For OTT Release On Amazon Prime Video

After a year of its theatrical release, Tamannaah Bhatia's Malayalam debut film Bandra is finally heading to OTT platforms. Reports suggest that the producers have sold the OTT rights of the big-budget film, which unfortunately underperformed at the box office. Directed by Arun Gopy, Bandra starred Dileep, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sharathkumar, Dino Morea, Samuthirakani, Lena, and Mamta Mohandas.

Although unconfirmed, indications point to Amazon Prime Video acquiring the OTT rights of Bandra. The film's producers, Ajith Vinayaka Films, also produced Gaganachari, which released on Amazon Prime Video on October 26. Speculations suggest that Bandra was bundled into the negotiations, paving the way for its November release on the platform.

Bandra marked Tamannaah's Malayalam debut, where she played Tara Janaki, a Bollywood actress. The film's plot revolves around an aspiring director investigating Tara's death and its connection to Dileep's character. Despite its promising cast and crew, Bandra struggled at the box office. Dileep's films have faced challenges in securing OTT deals post-pandemic, with Bandra being an exception.

Amazon Prime Video is expected to release Bandra in November, following the same pattern as Gaganachari. Fans can look forward to watching Tamannaah Bhatia's Malayalam debut on the platform soon.
