Veteran Tamil actor and dubbing artist Delhi Ganesh passed away peacefully at his Chennai home on Saturday evening at 11 PM. He was 80 years old. His son, Mahadevan, confirmed the news on Instagram, attributing the cause of death to prolonged ill health.
Ganesh, a prominent figure in the Tamil film industry for over four decades, began his journey with K. Balachander's "Pattina Parvesam." He went on to grace over 400 films and countless television serials with his powerful performances. Notably, he held supporting roles in iconic films like "Sindhu Bhairavi," "Nayakan," "Apoorva Sagodharargal," "Michael Madana Kama Rajan," "Aahaa...!" and "Thenali." His unforgettable portrayal in the popular serial "Ragasiyam" earned him widespread acclaim. He most recently appeared in the highly anticipated "Indian 2."
