Dhanush Collaborate With Rajkumar Periasamy For D55

Actor-filmmaker Dhanush is on a roll, with multiple projects in the pipeline. Following the announcement of his next directorial venture Idly Kadai's release date, production house Gopuram Films revealed their upcoming collaboration with Dhanush. The highly anticipated film, tentatively titled D55, will be directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, who is basking in the success of his recent film Amaran.

D55 marks the first collaboration between Dhanush and Rajkumar Periasamy, with Gopuram Films financing the project. The inaugural function took place on Friday, attended by the producer, actor, director, and filmmaker Vetrimaaran. Further details on the cast and crew are expected to be announced soon. With Amaran receiving critical acclaim and commercial success, expectations are high for D55.

Dhanush's upcoming projects include a biopic on Ilaiyaraaja, directed by Arun Matheswaran, and his next directorial venture Idly Kadai, co-starring Nithya Menen and scheduled for release in April 2025. Additionally, he will star in the Telugu-Tamil film Kubera, helmed by Sekhar Kammula and featuring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jom Sarbh in prominent roles.
