Kamal Haasan Thug Life To Release On June 5, 2025

The highly anticipated Tamil film, Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan and directed by veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam, has finally secured a release date. On Kamal Haasan's birthday, the makers revealed that Thug Life will hit theaters on June 5, 2025. This marks the second collaboration between Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam after their 1987 classic, Nayakan.

The teaser showcases stunning visuals, action sequences, and glimpses of the ensemble cast, including Silambarasan, Ashok Selvan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik, Joju George, Abhirami, Nasser, and Ali Fazal. AR Rahman is composing the music for the film. Initially, Jayam Ravi and Dulquer Salmaan were part of the cast, but scheduling conflicts led to Silambarasan and Ashok Selvan joining the project.

Thug Life is expected to be a high-octane action film with a gangster theme, employing a hyperlink screenplay with multiple threads converging at a single point. The film has been shot in various locales, including Serbia, New Delhi, Rajasthan, and Puducherry. The technical crew includes cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran and editor Sreekar Prasad.
