L2 Empuraan Locks March 27, 2025 As Release Date

The highly anticipated Malayalam film L2 Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring Mohanlal, has finally announced its release date. The makers revealed that the film will hit theaters on March 27, 2025. L2 Empuraan is the second installment in the Lucifer franchise, with Mohanlal reprising his iconic role as Stephen Nedumpally aka Khureshi Abraam.

A new poster was unveiled, featuring a mysterious figure with a red dragon design on their back. Prithviraj Sukumaran will play Zayed Masood, the right-hand man and confidante of Khureshi Abraam, with a longer screen time than the first installment. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iyappan, and Arjun Das.

L2 Empuraan is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas, with Sujith Vaassudev handling cinematography and Deepak Dev composing the music. Akhilesh Mohan is the editor, and the film will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
