In a festive announcement coinciding with Diwali, director Abhishek Kapoor has unveiled the title of his upcoming action-adventure film, "Azaad." The film marks Kapoor's return to the genre after critically acclaimed works like "Kai Po Che," "Kedarnath," "Rock On!!," and "Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui."

"Azaad" will introduce newcomers Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani to the big screen, alongside veteran actor Ajay Devgn in a prominent undisclosed role, and Diana Penty.

The film's poster, released with the tagline "Kahaani yaari ki. Kahaani wafadaari ki. Kahaani #Azaad ki!" hypes the upcoming adventure.

Adding to the Diwali excitement, the makers have announced that the first teaser for "Azaad" will premiere exclusively in cinemas starting November 1st. The teaser will be paired with highly anticipated releases like "Singham Again" and "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3," ensuring maximum visibility.

The film, produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor, is set for a full release in January 2025.
