The Malayalam and Tamil film industries are mourning the sudden demise of popular film editor Nishadh Yusuf, who was found dead in his Kochi apartment on October 30. The 43-year-old editor's body was discovered at around 2 am in Panampilly Nagar, with the cause of death yet to be ascertained. Police officials are currently investigating the incident.

The Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA) Directors' Union confirmed Nishadh's passing on their Facebook page, paying tribute to his contributions to Malayalam cinema. Nishadh's notable works include Thallumaala, Unda, One, Saudi Vellakka, and Adios Amigos. He had several upcoming projects, including Kanguva, starring Suriya, Mammootty's Bazooka, and Suriya's untitled film with RJ Balaji.

Nishadh Yusuf's exceptional editing skills earned him the Kerala State Award for Best Editor in 2022 for his work on Thallumaala. His sudden demise has sent shockwaves through the film industry, with colleagues and fans expressing condolences. Nishadh is survived by his wife and two children.
