Speculation on Thandel release.Thandel Release Date Uncertain: Chandoo Mondeti Speaks Candidly.Naga Chaitanya's upcoming film Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and featuring Sai Pallavi as the leading lady, faces a release date uncertainty despite the film's nearing completion.

Speaking at a recent event, Chandoo Mondeti addressed the issue directly, clarifying that the film won't be ready for a Christmas release as initially planned. He revealed the team aims to wrap up production by January, but a Sankranthi release is uncertain due to stiff competition.

"With Ram Charan's Gamechanger and Venkatesh's upcoming film also vying for the Sankranthi slot, and considering Allu Aravind's and Chaitanya's decision, we might be pushed to a later date," said Mondeti, acknowledging the challenging situation.

While Sankranthi would be an ideal release date, a solo release might be more beneficial for Thandel, considering the strong competition from top stars like Venkatesh, Balakrishna, and Ajith.

Thandel, a high-budget film, promises to showcase Chaitanya in a unique role as a young fisherman against a backdrop of India-Pakistan relations. Devi Sri Prasad's music is also eagerly anticipated.

The current delay could be attributed to Sai Pallavi's promotions for her film Amaran and Chaitanya's commitments to his engagement and the ANR National Award event.

With only ten days of shooting left, fans will have to wait a bit longer for the final release date confirmation.
