After the successful first day of ‘Raktha Charitra’ in Andhra Pradesh; the biggest controversy of projecting NTR as villain seems to have ended peacefully, when Producer Kalyan and Director Ramgopal Varma agreeing to remove those scenes and edit the voice over of Varma which are found derogatory by TDP leaders.
As the morning shows started to screen today all over the state, sources say that nothing of such said scenes were cut and amendments to the original version haven’t been made. This made TDP angry and their leader Varla Ramaiah blasted Kalyan calling the TDP cadres to halt the shows everywhere. ‘Why can’t Kalyan stop the screening of shows for a day and then edit those scenes?’ Varla suggested.
Insiders say that, damage for NTR’s image has already been done and removing of these Shatrugan Sinha scenes from the movie won’t be of much use while it is also cumbersome job to go for audio correction of Varma’s voice over now. So, this issue may pass on without any advantage to TDP.
