Rajinikanth Reveals Kanguva Was Originally Written For Him

Rajinikanth recently sent a video message to the audio launch of Suriya's fantasy action film, Kanguva, revealing a surprising fact about the movie's origins. The megastar disclosed that Kanguva was initially conceived for him, stemming from a conversation with director Siva during the filming of Annaatthe. Siva had written the period film with Rajinikanth in mind, but it eventually reached producer Gnanavel and Suriya.

Rajinikanth graciously acknowledged the change, expressing his enthusiasm for Siva's future projects. He praised Suriya, calling him a "gentleman" and likening him to his father, Shivakumar.
