Salman Threat Case: Mumbai Police Arrests 24-Year-Old Man

In a significant breakthrough, Mumbai Police have arrested a 24-year-old man from Jamshedpur in connection with the threatening message sent to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. Shaikh Hussain Shaikh Mausin, a vegetable seller, was identified as the accused who demanded Rs 5 crore from the actor. The threat message was received on the Mumbai Traffic Police's WhatsApp helpline last week, prompting a swift investigation.

The police tracked the mobile number to Jharkhand and dispatched teams to apprehend the accused. Another team was sent to Guwahati as part of the investigation. Interestingly, the Mumbai traffic police received an apology from the same mobile phone number, indicating a potential backtrack by the accused.

This isn't the first time Salman Khan has faced threats. Previously, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang sent death threats to the actor, and suspected members even opened fire outside his Bandra residence in April this year. The Navi Mumbai police also uncovered a plot by the Bishnoi gang to kill Khan, leading to enhanced security measures.

The swift arrest in the latest threat case underscores the Mumbai Police's commitment to ensuring the safety of citizens, including high-profile individuals like Salman Khan. The investigation is ongoing, and further details are awaited.
