After a brief hiatus following Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan is gearing up for his next projects. Reports suggest that the actor is exploring various scripts and is ready to sign new films. One such project that has caught his attention is the Kishore Kumar biopic, directed by Anurag Basu. A source close to the development revealed that Basu and producer Bhushan Kumar consider the biopic a precious project and aim to bring it to the big screen in the best possible way.

Aamir Khan, a self-proclaimed admirer of Kishore Kumar, is drawn to Basu's unique vision for the legendary singer's life story. The filmmaker's distinct approach has fascinated Khan, who has already held four to five meetings with Basu. Things are looking positive for the collaboration.

Khan is interested in all six films and will make a decision on his next project by the end of the year.
