Among those impacted by the floods is superstar Rajinikanth, whose Poe's Garden residence, situated in a low-lying area, has been inundated.

Videos and photos of the flooded premises have gone viral on social media, showcasing the severity of the situation. While Rajinikanth and his family were not seen in the footage, this is not the first time their home has been affected by heavy rainfall in Chennai.

Despite the recent challenges, Rajinikanth is reportedly recovering well after being hospitalized for stomach pain. He has since been discharged and is expected to resume shooting for his upcoming film soon.

"Vettaiyan," Rajinikanth's latest release, debuted on October 10th and garnered moderate box office success. The film also performed well in Telugu, earning approximately Rs. 240 crores.

Rajinikanth's upcoming projects include "Coolie," directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, which is set to begin filming soon. The star-studded cast includes Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Upendra, and others. He also has "Jailer 2" lined up for the future.

As Chennai continues to face the challenges of heavy rainfall, the well-being of its citizens, including its beloved celebrities, remains a top priority.
