Diwali 2024 Box Office Heats Up: Lucky Baskhar, Ka And More

The Diwali 2024 box office is gearing up for intense competition, with multiple films vying for attention. Dulquer Salmaan's Telugu film, Lucky Baskhar, has confirmed its release date as October 31, 2024, after two previous postponements. Joining the fray is Kiran Abbavaram's mystery thriller, Ka, also slated for October 31, 2024, despite initial concerns about competition.

The initial lineup included Vishwak Sen's Mechanic Rocky and Nikhil's Appudo Ippudo Eppudo, but both films have opted out of the Diwali release. Mechanic Rocky will now release on November 22, 2024, while Appudo Ippudo Eppudo has booked November 8, 2024. Rukmini Vasanth makes her Telugu debut in the latter, which has been in production for over two years.

Adding to the excitement, three Tamil films - Brother, Amaran, and Zebra - will also hit theaters during the Diwali weekend, securing substantial screen space in Telugu regions. This crowded release schedule prompted Mechanic Rocky and Appudo Ippudo Eppudo to postpone their releases.

As the Diwali 2024 box office battle unfolds, it remains to be seen which film will emerge victorious.
