Rajinikanth To Resume Coolie Filming After Non-Surgical Procedure

Rajinikanth, who recently underwent a pre-planned non-surgical procedure, is recovering well, according to director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The legendary actor is set to resume filming for Coolie in a few days, with the Chennai schedule commencing on October 15, 2024, and Rajinikanth joining on October 16, 2024.

Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed that Rajinikanth had informed the team about the procedure in advance, allowing him to wrap up his Vizag portions by September 28, 2024. Shruti Haasan, who plays a key role, has already completed her filming with the Vizag schedule.

Coolie boasts an impressive star cast, including Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and others. Anirudh Ravichander handles music composition, Girish Gangadharan is the cinematographer, and Philomin Raj handles editing.

Produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures, Coolie is expected to release by mid-2025. Fans eagerly await the film's progress, relieved by Rajinikanth's positive health update.
