In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, he reveals his unwavering commitment to crafting superhero stories rooted in Indian mythology, while pushing boundaries and fostering important conversations.

Embracing Indian Mythology:

Prasanth, a self-proclaimed superhero enthusiast, rejected the notion that the genre wouldn't work in India. He explains, "I wanted to do something unique to our culture. My passion for Indian mythology led me to create these stories, drawing inspiration from our Gods." A Universe of Stories:

Prasanth's "PVCU" is not just about one hero; it's an expansive universe brimming with stories. "HanuMan," while drawing inspiration from the Hindu deity, breaks free from traditional narratives, offering a refreshing take on the hero. He emphasizes that the "PVCU" will explore various subgenres and characters, ensuring each film stands apart.

Challenging the Norm:

Prasanth's vision extends beyond just entertaining. He aims to spark meaningful conversations. "I want people to have a healthy discussion about the issues raised in these films," he explains. His upcoming film "Mahakali," while being a superhero adventure, will delve into themes of social responsibility and challenge conventional beauty standards. He emphasizes that he won't resort to "brown-facing" actors for the role.

Collaborations and Aspirations:

While some collaborations haven't materialized, including with Karthi and Ranveer Singh, Prasanth remains optimistic about future projects. He sees these setbacks as mere bumps in the road, expressing hope for future collaborations with these actors.

The Future of PVCU:

With the cast for "Jai Hanuman" finalized and multiple projects in the pipeline, both within and outside the "PVCU," Prasanth remains focused on delivering compelling narratives. He's also actively involved in guiding Mokshagna's acting debut, ensuring a smooth transition for the young actor.

Prasanth's dedication to pushing boundaries and his commitment to socially conscious storytelling set him apart as a true innovator in Indian cinema. His "PVCU" promises to be a game-changer, captivating audiences with its unique blend of superhero action, mythology, and social commentary.
