Multi-lingual actor Dulquer Salmaan is gearing up for his next film, "Lucky Baskhar," directed by Venky Atluri. The movie follows an ordinary man's extraordinary journey and is slated for release on October 31, during the Diwali holiday. The film's promotional plan was unveiled by Venky Atluri and producer Naga Vamsi, who expressed confidence in the project's unique storytelling and entertainment value.
The theatrical trailer will be launched on October 21, followed by a pre-release event on October 26 or 27 in Telugu states. The film will have premieres worldwide starting from evening shows on October 30. Inspired by Hollywood's "Wolf of Wall Street," Venky Atluri aimed to explore a new genre in Indian cinema. Dulquer Salmaan was chosen for his believable charm and ability to portray a middle-class protagonist with a unique character.
"Lucky Baskhar" touches on India's late 80's and early 90's banking system, with the director assuring that the screenplay will be easy to follow for all audiences. The film's research-based approach consulted experts in the field to ensure authenticity. Composer GV Prakash Kumar's patience and commitment were praised by Venky Atluri, resulting in popular songs like "Srimathi Garu" and "Lucky Baskhar Title Song."
With Meenakshi Chaudhary as the leading lady, "Lucky Baskhar" is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film will release worldwide in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi languages on October 31. Audiences can expect a different commercial film experience, with the "Lucky Baskhar" character set to leave a lasting impression.
