In a recent interview with Connect Cine, Oscar and Grammy-winning composer AR Rahman shared the reason behind Aadujeevitham's disqualification from the Grammy Awards. The film's soundtrack fell short of the required length by just one minute, rendering it ineligible for consideration.

Rahman explained that he had composed four tracks for the film, directed by Blessy, but unfortunately, it didn't meet the Grammy's length criteria. Discussing his future plans, Rahman expressed his desire to submit more works for Grammy consideration, stating, "My picture was not to win anymore. But, it could be." He is currently working with the Better Band.

Rahman's impressive career boasts numerous accolades, including his recent National Award for Best Music Director (Background Music) for Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1, presented by President Droupadi Murmu. Notably, he didn't submit the soundtracks of Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 and Part 2 for Grammy consideration last year.

With upcoming projects like Chhaava and Thug Life, Rahman continues to create impactful music. His last project was Dhanush's directorial venture, Raayan. Fans eagerly anticipate his future works, hoping for another Grammy or Oscar win.
