"Bachchan sir is the epitome of preparation," Gnanavel explained, highlighting Bachchan's dedication to understanding every detail of his role. "He would call me, make me sit down, and go over the next day's scenes. He'd pinpoint specific points, ask questions, and ensure he was fully prepared. Rajinikanth sir, on the other hand, is a master of spontaneity," Gnanavel continued, "If you gave him the scene script on the day of the shoot, he'd say, 'Let's see it during the shot.'"

Gnanavel described Bachchan's dedication to thorough preparation, even requesting help from the director to ensure he understood every nuance of the next day's scenes. "He'd leave the set with the scene paper and come back the next day knowing every line by heart," Gnanavel said, emphasizing Bachchan's meticulous approach.

In contrast, Rajinikanth's approach is characterized by a natural charisma and instinctual understanding of his craft. "He'd always request us to finish Amitabh Bachchan sir's scenes first, and he'd wait patiently," Gnanavel shared, highlighting Rajinikanth's respect for Bachchan's seniority and need for preparation.

The director's revelation provides a glimpse into the diverse approaches of these iconic actors. Bachchan's meticulous preparation reflects his commitment to perfection, while Rajinikanth's spontaneous brilliance highlights his natural talent and instinctive understanding of his craft. This contrasting approach, witnessed firsthand by Gnanavel during the making of "Vettaiyan," serves as a testament to the unique qualities that have made these two legends pillars of Indian cinema.

"Vettaiyan," marking the reunion of Bachchan and Rajinikanth after 33 years, is set to hit theaters on October 10th, offering a thrilling cinematic experience that promises to blend the strengths of these two iconic stars.
