Suhas Gorre Puranam Heads To Aha After Box Office Struggle

Suhas' latest social drama, Gorre Puranam, released on September 20, 2024, but unfortunately, went unnoticed at the box office. Despite its thought-provoking storyline, the film failed to generate buzz. However, the film has found a new lease on life with Aha acquiring its digital rights for a substantial sum.

Gorre Puranam will start streaming on Aha from the Dussehra weekend, offering audiences a chance to experience this village drama. Suhas plays a pivotal role as a village guy entangled in a unique case involving a goat. The film's narrative explores communal harmony in a small village dominated by Hindus and Muslims.

Initially, Gorre Puranam wasn't slated for an early release. However, due to consistent rains in Telugu states, Dil Raju postponed Suhas' other film, Janaka Aitha Ganaka, allowing Gorre Puranam to fill the gap. Although it didn't impress audiences in theaters, Suhas received praise for his sincere performance.
