Director Lokesh Kanagaraj shared updates on Rajinikanth's health, revealing that the superstar is recovering well after undergoing a non-surgical procedure. Contrary to media reports, Lokesh clarified that Rajinikanth's treatment was planned and not due to a medical emergency. The filmmaker assured that the team wouldn't have continued filming if Rajinikanth's health was critical.

Lokesh Kanagaraj disclosed that Rajinikanth wrapped up his Vizag portions on September 28, 2024, and will resume filming in Chennai on October 15, 2024, after the Ayudha Pooja break. The superstar is currently under bed rest for three weeks, with plans to rejoin the project by the last week of October.
