Rajinikanth Discharged from Hospital

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth was discharged from Chennai's Apollo Hospitals on October 3, late at night, after undergoing a successful heart procedure. The veteran actor, 73, was admitted on September 30 with severe stomach pain while filming for his upcoming movie, Coolie.

According to the hospital's medical bulletin, Rajinikanth underwent a non-surgical, transcatheter method to treat swelling in the aorta, the main blood vessel leaving the heart. A stent was successfully placed in the aorta. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed concern for Rajinikanth's health, calling his wife Latha to convey wishes for his speedy recovery.

Rajinikanth's fans breathed a sigh of relief as news of his discharge spread. The actor's upcoming film, Vettaiyan, directed by T.J. Gnanavel of Jai Bhim fame, is slated for release on October 10. The ensemble cast includes Amitabh Bachchan, Fahad Fazil, Manju Warrier, and Rana Daggubati.

With his health issues addressed, attention now shifts to Vettaiyan, one of the most anticipated films of the year. Rajinikanth's fans eagerly await his return to the screen, expecting another iconic performance from the Tamil cinema legend.
