Joining Samantha and the Akkineni family in speaking out against the minister's remarks, prominent actor NTR (Jr. NTR), known for his role in the film "Devara," took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his disapproval. He stated, "Konda Surekha garu, dragging personal lives into politics is a new low."

NTR emphasized the importance of dignity and respect for privacy, particularly from those in positions of authority. He further stated, "It's disheartening to see baseless statements thrown around carelessly, especially about the film industry. We will not sit quietly while others make baseless allegations against us. We should rise above this and maintain respect for each other's boundaries." Actor Nani, known for his versatile roles, also strongly condemned Surekha's comments. He expressed his disgust at the minister's lack of accountability, stating, "Disgusting to see politicians thinking that they can get away talking any kind of nonsense." Nani emphasized that this issue extends beyond the film industry and political affiliations, stating, "It is not okay for someone in such a respectable position to talk such utter baseless rubbish in front of media and think that it is okay." He called for a united condemnation of such behavior, which he believes reflects poorly on society.
