Actress Tripti Dimri, known for her role in the film "Animal," has sparked controversy after failing to appear at a recent event organized by FICCI FLO in Jaipur. The event, titled "Shakti: Harnessing the Divine Power of Every Woman," was scheduled to take place on October 1st, 2024, at Hotel Clarks Amer.

Dimri was expected to participate in discussions and engage with attendees. However, her absence caused widespread disappointment and frustration among those present. Allegations surfaced that Dimri had been paid a hefty sum of ₹5 lakhs to attend the event, adding fuel to the fire.

Raghushree Poddar, president of the FICCI FLO Jaipur Chapter, had meticulously planned the event around Dimri's commitment, including networking sessions, a talk show, and a lunch. Dimri's no-show left the women in the business group disheartened and angered. Some attendees, in a display of their disappointment, even blackened Dimri's poster at the event.

The incident has led to criticism of Dimri's professionalism, with many questioning her commitment to the event and the organizers who relied on her presence. The absence of the key speaker also resulted in financial losses for the organizers, further compounding the situation.

The controversy highlights the importance of professional accountability and the impact of last-minute cancellations on organizers and audiences alike. It also raises questions about the ethical implications of accepting payment for an event that one is unable to attend.
