During today's hearing, a bench comprising Justices B.R. Gavai and K.V. Viswanathan expressed skepticism about the claims made regarding the laddus, stating that there is no conclusive proof to support the allegations. The court specifically raised concerns about the need for a public statement on the matter, given the lack of concrete evidence.

The bench questioned the Andhra Pradesh government on whether any second opinions were sought from other laboratories regarding the test results. They also sought clarification on whether the laddu itself was found to contain adulterated substances, or if the issue was solely related to the procured ghee.

The court further noted that there was no prima facie evidence to suggest that the ghee in question was actually used in the laddu-making process.

In a broader observation, the bench expressed the view that "God must be left out of politics" and advised the Chief Minister to carefully consider the implications before making public statements on such sensitive matters.

The court concluded by ordering both counsels to present more consolidated factual evidence in the case for the next hearing. This development underscores the seriousness with which the Supreme Court is approaching the Tirumala Laddu controversy, underscoring the need for a thorough and transparent investigation before drawing any conclusions.
