Rebel Star Prabhas' highly anticipated film, Fauji, has commenced shooting in Madurai, with newcomer Imanvi and veteran actress Jaya Prada joining the schedule. The first-day shoot is underway in Madurai, with the entire cast and crew assembled.
Due to Prabhas' busy schedule, the team has planned to shoot several sequences without him, as he simultaneously works on his upcoming horror-comedy, The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. Fauji, set in 1945, features Prabhas as a soldier in the British Army. The film's first look is expected to be unveiled on Dussehra.
Fauji boasts an impressive cast, including Mithun Chakraborty in a crucial role as Prabhas' father. Vishal Chandrasekhar, known for Sita Ramam, composes the music, while Mythri Movie Makers produces the project.
Veteran actress Jaya Prada, renowned for her iconic films like Sagara Sangamam and Sanjog, brings her expertise to Fauji. Described by Satyajit Ray as one of the prettiest women in the world, Jaya Prada's involvement adds depth to the film.
