Varma changes 'Ananthapuram' to 'Anandapuram'

Controversies surrounding ‘Raktha Charitra’ are not new to Telugu audience. Ramgopal Varma, who loves such kind of lime light, was enjoying the free publicity for his venture which is to release soon. Audio of the movie received good response from audience and Varma very quickly announced his ‘Bezwada Rowdeelu’ also. 

As ‘Raktha Charitra’ is the movie based on faction politics of Rayalaseema, obviously Paritala Ravi and Maddelacheruvu Suri’s fort ‘Ananthapuram’ will play important role in the movie. Reasons unknown but due to severe criticism in usage of the name of ‘Ananthapuram’ directly in the movie, Varma succumbed to pressure replacing it as ‘Anandamuram’ not to directly hurt the sentiments of Ananthapuram locals.

With such soft sentiments logically related to Varma’s movies; there is no way that Vijayawada public will accept ‘Bezwada Rowdeelu’ that openly.
