Mohan Babu University Launches First Student Made Satellite In Collaboration with ISRO

Mohan Babu University (MBU) has achieved a significant milestone in its pursuit of space exploration and technological innovation by launching its first student-made satellite, MBUSAT-1. The launch, scheduled for 10 am on July 27th, is a testament to the university's commitment to hands-on learning and its collaboration with leading research institutions.

The project, a joint venture with the National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL) and ISRO, began in November 2023 and represents a groundbreaking achievement for MBU. The High-Altitude Balloon Satellite will be launched from the university grounds, marking a historic moment for MBU's foray into space technology and atmospheric research.
