Director accepts 'A' for Topless scene

All the way, Mahesh Bhatt’s new movie ‘Crook’ which is releasing tomorrow was in censor trouble due to a topless scene in the by a hot foreign actress Shella Alan. Censor Board identified this scene as disturbing and wanted a U/A certificate for the film, if Mahesh Bhatta would have edited out this scene. Alternatively, he could keep the scene and have his film get an ‘A’ certificate. Mahesh Bhatt chose ‘A’ and insisted that the film be released as ‘Adults Only.’ 

‘I see nothing wrong in it. There are three reasons why I was so possessive about the scene. One, it is relevant to the film. Two, it creates a dramatic impact. Three, the audience today largely comprises of the young generation who want certain sensationalism and not the so-called purists,’ said Mahesh Bhatt. 

Guys ‘Crook’ will have raunchy scenes between Emran Hashmi and Shella Alan.
