Santosh Sobhan: Young & Relatable Actor

Santosh Sobhan is an young actor with promising talent. Though he is yet to score a big break, he is known for his talent and relatable looks. Santosh is the elder son of late Telugu film director Sobha who has directed films like Bobby with Mahesh and Varsham with Prabhas. His uncle Lakshmipati was a comedian in Telugu films and his younger Sangeeth Shobhan is also an actor who was recently seen in hit film, 'MAD'. 

Santosh completed his graduation in mass communication but opted to pursue a career in films like his father. He first appeared in Mohana Krishna Indraganti-directed sports film Golconda High School as a child actor in 2011. After playing supporting role in Bangaru Kodipetta starring Navadeep, In 2015, Santosh made his debut as a lead in Thanu Nenu, alongside Avika Gor. 

After Thanu Nenu, Santosh took a break from films. Santosh returned to cinema in 2018 with Paper Boy produced by Director Sampath Nandi. The following year, he appeared in TV series The Grill. Santosh got his first success with Ek Mini Katha which was a direct to OTT release. Later that year, Santosh starred in Maruthi-directed Manchi Rojulochaie, alongside Mehreen Pirzada.

Santosh Sobhan was seen in Kalyanam Kamaneeyam with Priya Bhavani Shankar, followed by B. V. Nandini Reddy's Anni Manchi Sakunamule, opposite Malavika Nair, Sridevi Sobanbabu with Gouri Kishan and Prem Kumar. None of these films provided him much needed break. Now, he is coming with a couple of projects, Couple Friendly in UV Concepts banner and another one with 'Baby' makers.
