Then 'Robot' could have been a Flop Show

There are some kind of heroes in our Indian cinema industry whose name and appearance will alone judge the fate of a movie. Names like Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan stand in front row of this list. Shows like Kaun Banega Crorepati or movies like Black or Sarkar for Amitabh; movies like Bhaasha or Chandramukhi for Rajinikanth; it is alone the names of the heroes which made them huge blockbusters.

Going by the same calculation, there is a small debate about what could have been the result of ‘Robot,’ if Shahrukh Khan whom Shankar has earlier approached for the lead role could have been the hero? 

‘No way could that Shahrukh Khan win over BO with such heavy openings as Rajini. Though, he is a Star hero but not an equivalent crowd puller to Rajini in South, which has become the main deciding factor in the success of Robot. If the same budget has been spent on ‘Robot’ with Shahrukh, then it is for sure a flop show,’ said a movie analyst.

Luck favours only for those like hard working Shankar and Rajini.
