The much-anticipated collaboration of Suriya and acclaimed director Karthik Subbaraj, tentatively titled "Suriya 44," is officially underway. The film, featuring the gorgeous Pooja Hegde as the female lead, has commenced filming in the picturesque Andaman Islands.

The team recently completed shooting two captivating songs featuring Suriya and Pooja Hegde, adding to the anticipation for this exciting project. The current Andaman schedule is set to conclude by the first week of July, followed by a shift to Ooty for the next phase of filming.

Adding to the allure of "Suriya 44," renowned music composer Santhosh Narayanan is crafting the film's soundtrack, promising an immersive musical experience for audiences. The film is a joint venture between Suriya's 2D Entertainment and Karthik Subbaraj's Stone Bench Films, bringing together two powerhouses of Tamil cinema.
