American music duo The Chainsmokers wish to collaborate with Ram Charan. American DJ Alex Pall, one half of the Grammy-winning duo The Chainsmokers, has expressed his desire to collaborate with actor Ram Charan, the "hot dude" from the blockbuster film "RRR."
During a conversation with Raj Shamani on his podcast, Alex revealed his dream Indian artist collaboration, emphasizing that it should be a genuine fusion of cultures and not just a superficial attempt to gain popularity.
When asked about a Bollywood actor he'd like to work with, Alex immediately pointed to Ram Charan, describing him as the "less goofy, more military one" from "RRR." He was deeply impressed by the film's visual spectacle and felt a strong connection to Ram Charan's character, the Indian Imperial Police officer Sitaramaraju.
This isn't the first time The Chainsmokers have expressed their fondness for Indian cinema and artists. In 2017, they expressed their desire to act alongside Priyanka Chopra in a Bollywood film, highlighting their deep appreciation for the genre.
Ram Charan, currently busy with Shankar's "Game Changer" alongside Kiara Advani, is also set to star in films directed by Buchi Babu Sana and Sukumar. His upcoming projects, coupled with Alex Pall's desire to collaborate, suggest that a musical collaboration between the two could be a tantalizing possibility in the future.
