Kamal Haasan Character In Prabhas Kalki 2898 AD

Prabhas starrer upcoming Sci-fi actioner with mythological angle to it is the highly anticipated movie being made in India. With a humongous budget touching Rs 600 Crore by Vyjayanthi Movies, the movie is likely to go down in history as one of the biggest and costliest multi-starrer films ever made in the country, especially from Tollywood. 

Director Nag Ashwin and makers has pulled off a massive casting coup with legendary actors on board. Amitabh Bachchan joins the list initially and later Kamal Haasan joins the bandwagon of Prabhas and Deepika Padukone starrer. Though it is unknown about Kamal Haasan's role in the film he is playing most crucial role in Kalki 2898 Ad. 

While Prabhas will be seen playing the character of Bhairava. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is reportedly playing the antagonist's role. He has already completed filming for his portions a long time ago. Reports suggest that he has a limited screen time of about 20 minutes in the first part of Kalki 2898 Ad. It is also being said that Kamal Haasan will have a lengthier runtime in the sequel close to 90 minutes

The filmmakers are spending over Rs 150 Crore for the film's VFX alone, and are leaving no stone unturned to make the output impactful. Kalki 2898 Ad is set in the future in a fictional city called Kashi. The film is going to hit the screens on June 27 this year on a mammoth scale as a pan-India release.
