Another shock hit the TV industry when they are still reeling over the death of popular TV actress Pavitra Jayaram. Her co-star, alleged lover Chandrakanth unable to cope up with her loss, died by suicide at their apartment. Both of them became popular with ZEE Telugu serial, 'Trinayani'.
Just days after the untimely demise of his close friend and co-star, Pavitra Jayaram, in a car accident, Chandrakanth has been found dead by suicide at his residence in Alkapur, under the jurisdiction of the Narsingh Police Station in Rangareddy District.
Chandrakanth, who gained fame through his role in the TV series 'Trinayani, was discovered to have hanged himself in the home he shared with the late Pavitra. Initial reports indicate that the actor was deeply affected by the loss of Pavitra Jayaram, with whom he shared a close and personal bond. Chandrakanth was reportedly in the vehicle during the tragic accident that claimed Pavitra's life.
Pavitra Jayaram, a well-known serial actress, was previously married and separated, leaving behind two children. Chandrakanth also leaves behind a family, including a wife and two children, despite having lived with Pavitra for the past six years. In a recent interview, Chandrakanth revealed that he and Pavitra Jayaram had planned to formalize their relationship after a trip to Bengaluru.
