Mammootty Turbo Trailer Offers Action Feast

Mammootty is now rocking with films delivering both boxoffice hits like 'Kannur Squad' and as well as proving his acting prowess with films like 'Bhramayugam'. He is the only big hero who has been trying films in various genres and delivering them with flying colours. Bow he is coming with

one of the most eagerly awaited Malayalam films of the year, Turbo. The film has been generating significant buzz ever since its initial announcement.

While much of this anticipation stems from it being Malayalam superstar Mammootty’s first full-fledged mass entertainer since Bheeshma Parvam (2022), the buzz is also fuelled by its star-studded cast and crew. Turbo is helmed by Pulimurugan director Vysakh, it is penned by Anjaam Pathiraa and Abraham Ozler’s director Midhun Manuel Thomas and bankrolled by Mammootty himself under the banner of Mammootty Kampany.

Now, makers released Turbo’s trailer, promising that the movie will be a high-octane action comedy with a no-holds-barred Mammootty at the centre. The 133-second trailer opens by directly introducing Jose (Mammootty), referred to by others as Turbo Jose for his impressive action abilities. Throughout the trailer, we see glimpses of Jose’s intense fights. However, his dominance is challenged when another powerful man (Raj B Shetty) appears, leading to a confrontation though Jose has no idea as to how or why they ended up locking horns.

The film boasts a diverse ensemble, including renowned Kannada actor-director Raj B Shetty and Telugu star Sunil, both making their Malayalam debuts in pivotal roles. Other notable cast members include Anjana Jayaprakash, Kabir Duhan Singh, Siddique, Shabareesh Varma and Dileesh Pothan. Turbo will hit the screens worldwide on May 23.
