Adah Sharma: The Kerala Story Girl

Adah Sharma is a popular actress in Bollywood and Tollywood. She has roots of South India as her father is a Tamilian and mother is a Malayali. Adah Sharma was born and brought up in Mumbai.  She has started her career with the horror film 1920 opposite Rajneesh Duggal. After appearing in Hasee Toh Phasee, she made her debut in Telugu with Puri Jagannadh directorial, Heart Attack starring Nithiin. 

But, she didn't got big offers except for extended guest roles in films like S/O Satyamurthy, Subrahmanyam For Sale and Kshanam in Telugu.  She got action oriented films in Bollywood like, Commando 2, Commando 3, and Bypass Road among others. Apart from Telugu and Hindi films, the actress also ventured into Kannada and Tamil films. But, didn't got big break.

Despite working in several big films, it was director Sudipto Sen’s 2023 drama film, The Kerala Story that took Adah’s career to new heights. Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah the film was among the biggest successes of 2023 with a total Net Box official collection of approximately Rs 303 crore. Adah Sharma became quite popular after 'The Kerala Story'. The film earned her massive popularity, recognition, and fame on social media. 

Post the release of The Kerala Story, Adah appeared in the web series Sunflower 2 opposite Sunil Grover. The series was released on the OTT platform Zee5. The series was a hit and Adah garnered a lot of praise from the audience.

She worked again with director Sudipto Sen and producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah in Bastar: The Naxal Story, which was based on the Naxal insurgency in Chhattisgarh.
