The much-anticipated movie 'Ramayan,' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, is set to hit screens in a highly prestigious manner. Directed by Nitish Tiwari, the film initially had reports suggesting that the popular actor Yash would produce it along with Prime Focus. However, recent information indicates that the film, despite its grand budget, is facing some challenges.

Allu Mantena Media Ventures LLP, the production company, has issued a public notice regarding the film. According to reports, Prime Focus Technologies Ltd. is in negotiations to acquire the intellectual property rights of 'Project Ramayanam,' which uses a script similar to theirs. However, there are outstanding payment issues that need to be resolved. Allu Mantena Media Ventures has explicitly stated that any use of content from Prime Focus Technologies Limited's 'Project Ramayana' without meeting payment terms will be considered copyright infringement, and legal action will be pursued.

The notice further states that no payments have been received by Prime Focus Technologies Limited under the Assignment Agreement, thereby asserting their exclusive rights to 'Project Ramayana.' Consequently, Prime Focus Technologies Limited does not have the authority to proceed with the film's production or use its script or materials. Any such actions would be considered plagiarism, and those associated with Nitish Tiwari's 'Ramayana' project could face legal consequences.

In 'Ramayanam,' Ranbir Kapoor portrays the role of Sri Rama, while Sai Pallavi portrays Sita. Yash, renowned for his role in 'KGF,' is rumored to be playing the role of Ravan, for which he is reportedly receiving a substantial fee of 150 crore rupees. Yash has also expressed his involvement in the film as part of the recent focus on Prime Focus Technologies Limited's acquisition negotiations.
