Kore Nandu Kumar filed the petition alleging that the accused, in collusion with GHMC officials, unlawfully entered the leased premises, demolished structures allegedly erected by him, removed movable property and intimidated him and his family.In 2024, the accused approached the court seeking to quash the case. Minister for Small Scale Industries D K Aruna on Monday stated that the government will set up a team to study the sugarcane growers&rsquo; problems and other related issues in the sugar-cane growing states.
Talking to media persons after attending a review meeting convened under the chairmanship of Chief Minister K Rosaiah at the Secretariat, Ms Aruna said the Chief Minister has directed officials to set up a team to study the problems of sugarcane growers and other related issues in other states.
&ldquo;A committee will tour other states and study the conditions there and make recommendations to the government,&rdquo; she revealed.&nbsp;
The Chief Minister also directed officials to set up a sugarcane research institute in the state to help the growers. The government will take steps to strengthen the sugar industry in the state after studying conditions in other states, she said.
&ldquo;After getting report from officials, the government will draft a new sugar policy to strengthen the industry,&rdquo; she added. &nbsp;
The Minister added that the sugarcane cultivation area has increased by 40 percent in the state. The sugarcane cultivated area in the state was 1.8 lakh hectares against 1.2 lakg hectares two years ago, she stated.
Ms Aruna said the Chief Minister has hailed the decision of establishment of sugarcane crushing factory in Mahabubnagar district after four years.
Reacting on the corruption charges leveled by Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu against the government, she said Mr Naidu has no right to criticize government as he was termed the `Raja of corruption&rsquo; during the TDP regime&rsquo;s rule.

Panel to study sugarcane farmers' problems soon : Aruna

Telugu Desam Party leader Chalasani Venkateshwara Rao (54), also known as Pandu was on Sunday found murdered in his flat on the fourth floor of the &lsquo;Swapnika&rsquo; apartments in Maduranagar, Yosufguda. Pandu is believed to have been close to Nandamuri Harikrishna and had earlier been associated with Paritala Ravi.
According to Inspector Krishna, Pandu&rsquo;s close associate Mahender Reddy is the prime suspect based on the version of the building watchman who has told the police that he had seen Reddy leaving the place early on Monday morning.
Police believe that Mahendar Reddy and Chalasani Pandu, besides an unidentified person, had arrived together to the flat late on Sunday night.
The police also believe that the murder took place after a dispute broke out between the two over sharing the proceeds of a land deal.
Pandu was found strangulated, besides the presence of injuries to his head and chest.
Pandu, a native of Ventrapragada, Peddaparupadi mandal in Krishna district had earlier worked with Paritala Ravi.
He was considered close to Nandamuri Harikrishna to the extent that he managed to get the party Assembly ticket thrice, but lost each time.
He also contested as an Independent candidate but failed to impress the voters.
Pandu is also believed to have been involved in land disputes settlement cases, with Mahender Reddy being his close aide.
On getting information police commissioner A K Khan, DCP task force Kamalasan Reddy, DCP West Zone Stephen Ravindra and Inspector Krishna has reached the spot.
Sources say that the police conducted searches on the residence of Mahendar Reddy apartment in Kukatpally. Sources say that vital clues like blood stains have been found. Samples have been sent to the Forensic Sciences Laboratory for verification.
Meanwhile, the news about the murder sent shockwaves among the TDP leaders, with some of them accusing the government of neglecting to provide security to Pandu.
A case has been registered under section 302 IPC and the body shifted to Gandhi Hospital for autopsy.
Pandu&rsquo;s body will be shifted to Venkatapragada in Vijayawada for the last rites.

Arun Matheswaran did not deviate from the subject and even drag the romantic and love tracks with unnecessary lip locks, hugs and songs.Though even few romantic scenes slowed the pace of the film, he ensured that he quicky shifted to action genre to keep viewers interest glued. The first half ends on a decent note with the cat and mouse game between the cops and the rebels. The second half continues in the same way with the introduction of new characters and the pre climax connects chords with all with the film finally ending on a predictable note. The predictability in the story, illogical scenes and few boring elements undid all the hard work.The cinematography of Mukesh is good. To the top of it, the over usage of Korean language puts off the viewers. The interval sequence and the possession of the spirit excites all, setting the tone for the second half.The second half's gangster role is dragged to the core. While few comedy scenes involving Varun Tej and Satya evoked laughter, others looked forced. The climax takes everyone by surprise and though looked different didn't leave the desired impact. The first three episodes keep the interest levels intact, but when one expects it to reach the next level with intense courtroom arguments, the director loses steam.From then on everything turns repetitive, testing the patience of the viewers. The slow pace of the narration ends up irritating the people. Dialogues turnout to be pretty ordinary. The expected emotions and drama in the courtroom arguments goes missing completely. Even the character arcs are not created properly after the initial introduction. While many expected the investigation to take off to new heights, the director Karna concentrated on highlighting the emotions and this impacted the pace of the narration. The screenplay went for the toss and this put off the viewers disconnecting them completely.To the top of it, the uneven pace, convoluted screenplay and investigation detailing instead of showing in action, concluding in dialogues, turned out to be a huge disappointment. What started as a thrilling ride turned out to be a bumpy ride in the end.The cinematography of Veda Vyas Gottipati showed the scenes in a natural and impactful manner. He used the camera angles and color combinations to maximum impact to show night scenes in an effective and realistic way. Anil Palasa's editing turned out to be a mixed bag. Few comedy scenes and interval twist is ok but only people who do not see logics can enjoy the second half. Even that is dragged to the core with unnecessary scenes and this undid all the decent work in the first half.The pre climax action sequence is creative and attracts all and the emotional climax brings curtain to the film in a decent manner.Viswas Daniel's cinematography is visually rich. The color pallets he chose is apt and added value to the output. The songs tuned by Mani Sharma are melodious and shot in the backdrop of beautifully erected sets. He elevated the scenes with his background music. Editing of Santosh Naidu is ok but could have been better as there are repetitive scenes that slowed the pace of the narration. Dialogues on love and life are thought provoking and impactful. However, their stakes increased when Vijay created a sensation in the assembly elections and became the CM of the state. The film now overcame all the hurdles and is releasing on 23 July 2026. Fans are gearing up to celebrate the day as the festival , as the film now happens to be Vijay's first film as the CM of Tamil Nadu. The makers are now promoting the film not as Vijay's last film but Vijay's first film as the CM. The first half starts with Vijay trying to raise his daughter without any fear and then the narration shifts to the introduction of the antagonist. The entire antagonist episode and there after looks silly and ridiculous to the core.The substandard and poor graphics turned the scenes into a tedious watch. the first half turns out to be stale with no real high elements. The second half continues in the similar manner and the core soul and emotion of Bhagawanth Kesari's Beti Ko Sher Banao goes for a toss. The pre climax and climax turns out to be childish with video game like elements. One gets a feeling that even video games or TV serials have better graphics.Anirudh Ravichander is known for his impactful works and he tuned the music and composed BGM for the film. However it turned out to be extremely disappointing as the songs failed to entertain and also not shot in an appealing manner. His background music failed to make any impact. He couldn't be blamed as the narration did not give him chance to do so. The editing of Pradeep Raghav turned out to be miserable. There are many scenes that tested the patience of the viewers. Had he used the editing scissors there wouldn't have been any film at all. The cinematography of Satyan Sooran became a disappointing affair. The dialogues failed to connect chords and most of them are politically motivated. Instead of elevating the emotions to the next level and better than the original, Vinoth concentrated on elevating the heroism of Vijay and also promote his political ideology. This resulted in the film turning out into a half baked one. Even the elevation scenes failed to make an impact and Vinoth shockingly killed the soul of the original. He failed completely with his story, screenplay and direction. The so called changes he made to the original instead of adding value, diluted the essence of the film and the message it intended to give to the society. Jana Nayakudu is touted to be the farewell film for Vijay but it turned out to be a failed farewell. He deserved better rather than this crap. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2 rating for Jana Nayakudu.

Fahad Faasil not only entertains but also mocks the character of Atharvaa and also the film's screenplay to leave all amused.But except for the two characters the film offers nothing new or exciting and turns out to be a tedious watch. The narration is stretched and screenplay is dragged to the core on a small point that hero cannot express his feelings for more than two and half hours.The film's convenient narration with Priety Mukhundhan's character disappearing surprisingly disappoints all. The convenient screenplay results in various characters appearing and disappearing as per the whims and fancies ot the director. The story offers nothing new and it is dragged completely with the pre decided runtime. To the top of it,the lead character not undergoing any transformation for almost 90% of the film tests the patience of the viewers.Director spent most of the time, highlighting the relationship between the lead character and his uncle and the girls in his life and in turn misses the emotional connection completely.The cinematography of Manoj Paramahansa showed the scenes in a natural and appealing manner. He performed well as a middle class husband and father and came up with realistic and natural performance. He decided to thrill the views with money heist story. The story revolves around robberies and scams. He managed to excite all with the thrilling elements with the scenes before and after the robberies. He highlighted how the opinions of people and middle class family changes in the backdrop of money heist.Interest levels increase with the starting scene of the bank robbery which takes viewers into the story. However later the introduction of characters slowed the pace of the narration. But the twists and turns involving the lead character and others and the negative shades increases the curiosity levels. The police investigation and others in the first half brings and end setting the tone for the exciting second half.However, the second half goes for a toss with the hero kidnap scene and various sub plots. While the first half is natural, the second half had shades of artificiality and illogical scenes. Couple of scenes in the second half turns it into a decent one.Ramess' Editing could have been far better as there are many scenes that slowed the pace of the film especially in the second half. Cinematography showed the scenes in a natural and realistic manner and Dinesh Purushottaman followed the standard template and took viewers into the story. JakesBejoy's background score is in sync with the story and he managed to keep the scenes the intensity levels intact.
