Seema like the re-release trend of Tollywood has been catching up with Bollywood too. Shah Rukh Khan's classic film Baazigar is all set for its re-release in the Retro Film Festival. SRK himself has announced on his instagram handle that he his thrilled to join fans in this nostalgic journey.

The film that originally released on November 12, 1993 follows Ajay Sharma (Shah Rukh Khan) seeking vengeance on business tycoon Madan Chopra (Dalip Tahil) for betraying his father. He does it by wooing Chopra's daughters Priya (Kajol) and Seema (Shilpa Shetty). Shahrukh Khan's role with negative shades brought him immense popularity and made his a star. His first major break through came with Baazigar.
This Diwali release did not just end up being a boxoffice blockbuster but it also put SRK on the map. His anti-hero role was widely appreciated by the critics. The film will be screened again in Cinepolis theatres. The romantic revenge thriller was directed by Abbas-Mustan
