'Patang' is a comedy sports drama film jointly produced by Vijay Sekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, and Suresh Kothinti under the banner of Cinematic Elements and Rishan Cinemas. It is directed by Praneeth Prattipati. Naani Bandreddi is its creative producer. The film stars Instagram sensation Preethi Pagdala, Zee Sarigama runner-up Pranav Kaushik, and Vamsi Pujit in lead roles. Famous singer and actor SP Charan is going to be seen in a pivotal role in this film along with a few new actors. Its production works are over. The film will hit the screens in Summer this year.

Recently, a song titled 'Hey Hello.. Namasthe' from the movie was released. Marking its success, the team of the film today hosted a meet in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, Vamsi Pujit said that 'Patang' is a fresh sports comedy featuring newcomers. Jose Jimmy's music, the makers said, has worked for the Hyderabadi anthem. "I am a true Hyderabadi born and brought up in the city. It is a great pleasure to step into a song about Hyderabad. Our film has been made with new people and has the quality of a big film," he added.

Actor Pranav Kaushik said that the song has been getting an incredible response. "It has the life and vibe of Hyderabad. The story is the hero of this movie. Jose Jimmy has given amazing songs for 'Patang'. The song is full of youthful energy and the choreography by Sandeep and the lyrics by Shreemani are very powerful. Listening to the song creates positive vibes in everyone. Our film will entertain people from all walks of life," he added.

Shreemani said that this is a new effort made by the entire team together. "The music director of this film is highly talented. This movie will bring a good name to everyone. Effective song choreography requires a good tune and catchy lyrics. This song comes with the right josh. Shankar Mahadevan has sung this song evocatively," he added.
