In response, Akasa Air replied promptly on X, expressing regret for Mannara's experience and explaining their excess baggage policy. However, they stated that they could not waive the fee, asking for her understanding. They also offered to address any previous concerns she might have had.

Mannara, frustrated with their response, replied, expressing her displeasure with the staff's behavior. She mentioned that instead of being understanding, they directed her to speak with their manager, who she felt was not courteous either.

In a detailed tweet, Akasa Air clarified their stance, stating that their baggage policy requires excess baggage fees for luggage exceeding the 15 kg limit. They explained that Mannara requested a waiver of this fee, which they could not accommodate. Additionally, they explained their seating policy regarding A+ seats, which require advance booking and an additional fee. Despite these policies, they accommodated Mannara in an emergency row seat for comfort.

Meanwhile, Mannara, known for her appearance on 'Bigg Boss 17' where she was the second runner-up, recently featured in the music video 'Saanware' alongside the show's first runner-up Abhishek Kumar.
