Sreeleela Gets Back To VD 12 Replacing Tripti Dimri

Vijay Deverakonda 's VD 12 which is a spy thriller has created much hype with its announcement glimpse. The film which is touted to be an intense action thriller with a periodic angle is to be directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri while popular production house Sitara Entertainments is bankrolling it. Initially Sreeleela was considered as female lead opposite Vijay Deverakonda. 

But, due to Vijay Deverakonda 's prior commitment 'Family Star' co-starring Mrunal Thakur, shoot of VD 12 gets delayed which resulted in dates clash of Sreeleela. Due to the delay in the shooting, Sreeleela found herself unable to give further dates for the shoot, which eventually led to the makers dropping her.

After her exit, makers opted for Animal beauty Triptii Dimri and  Saptha Sagaralu Dhaati fame Rukimi Vasanth as female lead. However, due to remuneration and date issue, Triptii was also ruled out of the project. Meanwhile, Sreeleela is ready to rejoin the project  after her fee and dates are worked out. So, now everything gets back to as per initial announcement of the project.

In the meantime, Vijay Deverakonda is wrapping up filming "Family Star," directed by Parasuram. Produced by Dil Raju. The movie is set to release on the 5th of April.
