Vivek Oberoi compares Sandeep Vanga with RGV. Sandeep Reddy Vanga's latest directorial venture, "Animal," has sparked a heated debate within the film industry, dividing opinions among critics and audiences alike. While some have lauded Vanga for his bold and unconventional storytelling, others have criticized him for his problematic views and themes. Amid this controversy, actor Vivek Oberoi has come forward to express his admiration for Vanga's passion and dedication to filmmaking.

In a recent interview, Oberoi spoke highly of Vanga, describing him as a man who feels madly for cinema. He expressed his eagerness to work with Vanga in the future, saying, "The day he calls me and says, 'I have this role for you,' I'll be like, 'Count me in.' I want to be directed by a person who thinks out of the box. It reminds me of what Ramu ji (Varma) used to be."

Oberoi also addressed the criticism directed at Vanga, arguing that it is unfair to judge artists based on their moral compass. He pointed out that moral standards can change over time, and what is considered acceptable or unacceptable can vary depending on the context. "As an artist, you cannot have boundaries. You have to see things from an artistic perspective," he explained.

Vanga himself has vehemently defended his film against accusations of misogyny. In a recent interview, he expressed his frustration with those who have labeled his movies, including "Kabir Singh" and "Animal," as misogynistic. He argued that it is unfair to use such terms without fully understanding the context and intent of his work.

"Animal," which hit theaters on December 1, has garnered mixed reviews from critics. The film follows a man named Vijay (played by Ranbir Kapoor) who has a toxic relationship with his emotionally unavailable father (played by Anil Kapoor). The film explores the lengths to which Vijay will go to protect his father, including resorting to violence.

Despite the controversy surrounding it, "Animal" has performed well at the Indian box office, crossing the Rs 500 crore mark in just a few weeks. The film's success suggests that there is an audience for Vanga's unique style of filmmaking, even among those who may not agree with his views or themes.
