Mass Raja Ravi Teja's fans are in for an unexpected twist as the much-anticipated film "Eagle" has decided to step back from the Sankranti release lineup. This news comes as a disappointment for the masses eagerly anticipating the film's release on January 13, 2024.
In the latest update, after extensive discussions, the makers have opted to postpone the film to a later date, now set for release on February 9, 2024. Dil Raju shed light on the decision, stating, "We conducted a meeting with the producers of Sankranti releases a few days back. We explained to them the ground reality and how the simultaneous release of five films could impact revenues. People Media Factory and Ravi Teja Garu understood this, and they graciously agreed to shift the release to a later date."
Expressing gratitude, Dil Raju, along with the producers of "HanuMan," "Saindhav," "Naa Saami Ranga," and the Nizam distributor for "Guntur Kaaram," acknowledged TG Vishwa Prasad, Vivek Kuchibotla, and Ravi Teja for their cooperative approach. Dil Raju emphasized that the decision was made in the best interest of the film industry and should not be viewed negatively.
Dil Raju assured that a dedicated release slot would be allocated for "Eagle" on February 9. He also mentioned reaching out to the team behind "Tillu Square," scheduled for the same date, and Naga Vamsi agreed to postpone their film. Discussions with the producer of "Yatra 2" are also in the pipeline to facilitate a solo release for Ravi Teja's film.
Addressing the media, Dil Raju urged against portraying the situation negatively, stating, "I request the media to not project this issue in a bad way. What we have done now is for the benefit of TFI (Telugu Film Industry)." This strategic decision aims to ensure the success and optimal performance of "Eagle" in the industry, emphasizing collaboration and understanding within the Telugu film fraternit.
