Shruti calls Prabhas magnetic. In Prashanth Neel's much-anticipated film "Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire," Shruti Haasan takes on the character of Aadya. Born and raised in the US, a world away from the tumultuous Khansaar her father is associated with, Aadya serves as a bridge for the audience, gradually unraveling the grim narrative of Deva (Prabhas). As she delves deeper into the gory past of Prabhas' character, both the audience and Aadya share a sense of profound shock. In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times, Shruti Haasan opens up about her intriguing role, the experience of working on "Salaar," and various aspects of her journey.

Expressing her fascination with the role of Aadya, Shruti shares, “Aadya is a misfit in that violent world, and it was interesting to see things unfold through her eyes.” She elaborates on how her character, having grown up in a distant, non-violent environment, becomes a compelling conduit for the audience to navigate the intense world depicted in the film.

During the candid conversation, Shruti Haasan acknowledges the allure of working with Prabhas, describing him as "interesting" as a co-star. She confesses, “I partly said yes to Salaar just to act with him.” Contrary to expectations, Shruti reveals her surprise at Prabhas's ability to seamlessly switch between his brooding on-screen character and his laidback off-screen persona. She describes him as "chill, friendly, and relaxed" when not in character, emphasizing his unexpected kindness, thoughtfulness, and generosity. However, she notes the stark transformation that occurs when Prashanth Neel calls "action," bringing forth a wholly different, intense side of Prabhas.

In the upcoming film, the chemistry between Shruti Haasan and Prabhas is poised to captivate audiences, offering a unique and compelling perspective on the intricacies of the characters and their journey in the violent, gripping world of "Salaar."
