Thani Oruvan Sequel To Begin This Month

Jayam Ravi got a huge break with Blockbuster 'Thani Oruvan' directed by his brother Mohan Raja. The film won numerous accolades as well as massive commercial success for its intriguing narration. The film was also made into Telugu as'Dhruva' starring Ram Charan in Surender Reddy's direction. 

The highly anticipated sequel, "Thani Oruvan" has been in the works for several months, with Mohan Raja set to direct once again and acclaimed actors like Nayanthara joining the cast. Excitingly, the latest update reveals that filming for the sequel is slated to commence in April 2024. 

Jayam Ravi is set to reprise his role as a cop, while discussions are underway to finalize the main antagonist, with several young South Indian heroes under consideration. There are also reports that Jayam Ravi himself playing antagonist role too.

Given the tremendous success of "Thani Oruvan" and its Telugu adaptation, "Dhruva" featuring Ram Charan, speculation arises about the potential remake of the sequel in Telugu. As the project gains momentum, all eyes are on the developments surrounding "Thani Oruvan 2," poised to kick off its shoot in April 2024.
