Deepika shares her thoughts over Louis Vuitton. Deepika Padukone's illustrious career not only encompasses blockbuster films but also prestigious associations with international luxury brands like Cartier and Louis Vuitton. Alongside Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra, she has made her mark as one of the most recognized Indian faces on the global stage.

Surprisingly, even a superstar like Deepika had her doubts when she first embarked on her partnership with Louis Vuitton. She initially assumed that the brand would treat her as an 'influencer,' merely asking her to pose with their products and share photos on social media. She reminisced, "When Ethan James Green was shooting me for the Louis Vuitton campaign last year, I saw the images with the logo on the monitor and I thought to myself, ‘Yeah, whatever, they are just going to put it on their social media and use me like an influencer,' and I moved on from that."

However, her perspective soon shifted when she realized that the brand had more significant plans for her. "A few months later, I was in Cannes as part of the film festival jury when I looked out the car window on my way to the red carpet and saw this huge storefront with my face on it. That’s when it finally hit me—this is happening," she confessed.

Despite her international success, Deepika firmly holds onto her roots and maintains that India will always be her 'home.' She doesn't feel the need to uproot herself and settle abroad, unlike some of her peers. She explained, "Why do I need to move with bag and baggage to have global impact? Early on in my modeling career, I had an offer to move overseas, and all of the fashion gurus in India said, ‘You shouldn’t be here, you should be in Paris, New York, or Milan,' and I was like, ‘No, those places are not my home. India is home.'"

In addition to her association with Cartier and Louis Vuitton, Deepika has also launched her own skincare brand, 82E, further solidifying her multifaceted and successful career.
